Ford Malmquist joined Colliers International in 2019 as a research analyst while completing this MBA at the University of Colorado — Denver.  As an analyst, Ford was responsible for data aggregation, analysis, interpretation, and reporting of relevant findings.  Time spent as an analyst was invaluable to Ford as it allowed him to understand the players and trends driving the Denver commercial real estate market.

In 2021, Ford transitioned to into brokerage and joined the Colliers Core Team, focusing on middle-market office and flex investment and leasing.  Leveraging his background in banking and research, Ford adds value by fully understanding each asset and how to position it to maximize value.

Prior to joining Colliers, Ford spent six years in banking, completing over $150 million in lending packages for middle-market companies throughout the Midwest and Colorado.  Ford’s last two years in banking were purely focused on construction and real estate lending in the Denver market, allowing Ford to gain a unique perspective into Denver’s rapidly evolving commercial real estate landscape.  Ford uses this perspective to better advise clients on potential financing issues or opportunities that may be present.  Additionally, Ford uses his financial background to help clients understand cash flow and leverage opportunities within their current portfolio.
